The hotel’s Midtown location is a great jumping off point; it’s just a few blocks away from the 6 train, which runs up and down the East Side – trips down to the Financial District to check out Wall Street  are a cinch, as are subway rides down to Union Square and the East Village to check out the artsier areas of the city. Grand Central is an architectural marvel; be sure to check it out even if you’re not traveling by train. No matter where you want to go, the Omni Berkshire Place is a great starting point.
