Pei-designed Four Seasons features stunning views and gracious style – a remarkable luxury experience, even by New York standards. The hotel boasts an in-house spa and multiple dining options, including two restaurants and three lounges. The story of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, which opened its first hotel in 1961, is a tale of continual innovation, remarkable expansion and a single-minded dedication to the highest of standards. The Canadian-based company has, for nearly 50 years, transformed the hospitality industry by combining friendliness and efficiency with the finest traditions of international hotel-keeping. In the process, Four Seasons has redefined luxury for the modern traveler.

Features and Amenities

Four Seasons Hotel New York offers 368 generously sized guest rooms – including 63 suites. Select accommodations have furnished terraces with views of Central Park or the downtown skyline. The décor is contemporary and understated, featuring the finest handcrafted furniture, English sycamore paneling and imported fabrics in light, soothing colors.

All accommodations offer an oval desk with two leather-upholstered chairs. Standard amenities to maximize productivity and relaxation include wired or wireless Internet access, a refrigerated private bar, CD and DVD players and all-news cable network service. Other signature features include Florentine marble bathrooms with a glass-enclosed shower stall, a deep soaking tub that fills in 60 seconds and a private changing area. You’ll find  down duvets and pillows, hypo-allergenic pillows available upon request, in-room safes, multi-line telephones, thick terry bathrobes, twice daily housekeeping and complimentary newspapers in the mornings.

The hotel offers a fitness Center, open 24 hours, that features cardiovascular equipment and weight-training machines, as well as complimentary juice and fruit. Remedy stress and strains with the hotel’s selection of yoga, flexibility and strength-training programs, or enjoy a rejuvenating workout in Central Park. There are also the aforementioned spa facilities, which include a steam room, sauna and whirlpool, as well as complimentary bottled water. The spa offers massages, facial treatments, hand and foot treatments and body treatments.

Four Seasons offers two of New York’s most acclaimed dining destinations. In the intimate L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, legendary chef Joël Robuchon dissolves the boundaries between kitchen and dining room for a truly memorable experience of his inspired cuisine. In the enchanted-forest-like setting of The Garden restaurant – with its four 20-foot (6-metre) African acacia trees – American breakfast, lunch and brunch favorites are offered during the day, while in the evening, the menu features small plates and 160 wines by the glass. There are also three lounges at the Four Seasons: The Bar, TY and the Calvisius Caviar Lounge. One of New York’s most desirable destinations after work, The Bar welcomes – with lofty ceilings, gentle lighting and fascinating people. Birthplace of the martini renaissance, The Bar features an extensive menu of innovative martinis and bar snacks. On the west side of the East 57th Street lobby, TY is an intimate lounge with outstanding style. A stunning fireplace and luxurious seating set the stage for personal comfort and people-watching. TY offers a sophisticated hors d’oeuvres menu, along with a premium selection of aperitifs, spirits and champagne. The world’s finest and only Calvisius Caviar Lounge is now open at Four Seasons Hotel New York. Enjoy a casual bite of exquisite and sustainable caviar from Italy in a sophisticated yet cozy setting. Small plates are complemented by French champagne, Italian sparkling wine and superior vodkas.

The city that never sleeps is an exciting mix of skyscrapers, world-class museums, unsurpassed shopping and the bright lights of Broadway – and the prime Midtown location of Four Seasons places guests in the heart of it all. Fifth Avenue shopping is just a block away, and Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, the Museum of Modern Art and a revitalized Times Square are within an easy stroll. The theatre district is about 20 minutes away by taxi, by subway or on foot.
